Balloon Ride in Paris
If you can see the little ball to the left of the Eiffel Tower that would be a hot air balloon. I really tried to get a good picture of it but it really was quite far away. It's also a bit smoggy but hey what are you gonna do.

Milan Terminal
This is a train station in Milan I believe and I know I'm a little late in posting today but hey at least I got one in. Anyways a little more about this photo I think this is on my way back to Florence from Paris on my European vacation during school in October. I had a picture of a pigeon in here but it was very blurry so I deleted it, but it was like it rolled around in mud it was so dirty.

Autumn Leaves
Another from Fort Tryon from my old Panasonic camera. I know that it's an old camera but man does it take some nice photos. I hope you like this one, what, with all the color and all.

Fresh Snow
One of the snow days this year, I went out and dragged Kailen with me to take some pictures. I only got a few pics that I really liked and turned into HDR's. This picture was actually some really terrible orange because I didn't use my flash but apparently changing the whole picture to b/w does it justice.

1 Moon Plaza
This is a view of the Empire State Building from the West Side Highway and around 40th Street. I have been looking for a good view of the Empire but have yet to find something that I really like. Although with the moon it really helps to make this a favorite regardless of the lampost.

Higher Daddy!
This is at Madison Square Park on their lawn right in the middle of the park. They were right next to these two large aluminum trees that were intertwined. Hopefully I'll have some pictures ready to go for everyone with those trees. Anyways this shot as you can see has quite a large lens flare right along the bottom going through daddy's shirt, I didn't know how to take it out but that's what it is by the way.

Rooftop Water Towers
This is taken right outside my window one day when I was experimenting with my camera. I didn't know that this was going to be a favorite shot but whatever makes people happy. I'm really glad how this came out though.

Misty Rainforest
This is in the rainforest area of the Manhattan zoo. I spent quite some time trying to get this and every other bird in there in focus. Quite hard especially without a large zoom lens. I think it came out relatively alright not too bad. What I really like is the mist.

World Financial Center
This is the WFC as seen from across the harbor where small sail boats are harbored. I'm not sure exactly who sails those boats but I actually wish I went to the school I've always been intrigued by sailing since my friend, Micah, started sailing when we were in middle school. This was the site of this year's TriBeca Film Festival out door shows. I saw Dirty Dancing there, my first time, and it was fantastic; I absolutely loved it as well as the crowd that sang along with almost every song.

Solitude
It's been quite an awesome summer so far a little hot some days but over all a really pretty summer with showers here and there but nothing huge. I really hope the rest of the summer will stay this way. As for all the out door activities, they are all in full swing and going on without a hitch. Anyone in for movie in the park? Bryant Park is holding their annual festival for the summer.

Summer Wonderland Wheel
The ferris wheel of the twenties, when the days were bright and the nights were sweet. In the lost generation fun was the priority and no one knew that better than New Yorkers. Coney Island the, first amusement park will close by the end of this summer and become the next Disney Resort.

Fascination
Although you can not see the face of the brightly colored child his cheek bones give it away. The large eye's stareing back at him, he is completely lost in thought of what it would be like to feel the cold skin of a walrus.

Birds of One
I found this building when I was exploring the west side of Manhattan. It's right along the Hudson River and I think that it's a port or some sort of convention center. But anyways I wanted to get something that would show the inside structure but everything that I shot gave a reflection instead of a see-through image.

Waiting for the Game
Passing time texting family and other officers around the stadium no doubt. The storm hit my group of EHS students when we were waiting for the game to start. We sat there for an hour in the rain and an hour without the rain and then finally the game started, just as the storm passed the stands filled and the Yankees won their game against the Pirates.

New Stadium Anyone?
As seen from the current Yankee stadium the new one looks like a frame and that is all. By the way when it rains in New York one needs an umbrella and not just the stupid fishing hat that they give you.

Out of Stone
This and many other trees like this one have fascinated me all around New York. There are tons of these type of trees just jutting out from random rocks. I'm not exactly sure where the roots are but it sure as heck looks cool.

Tahoe Sunset
A beautiful sunset in Tahoe. I barely even remember when this was taken and what not. I just know that I went there to go skiing and had a fantastic time.

Look at the World Outside
In Boston looking at the Trinity Church. I went around Boston on a free day in separation from all other ties and just walked for miles and miles. I couldn't believe how far everything felt but on the map looks so close together. So I stopped into the local library and rested my feet for a bit before heading back out into the cold.

Shadows on the Patio
Chasing birds is fun, everyone should do it. But what I like best about this picture is that the couple in the background are not even flinching while at least 20 birds fly over their head almost grazing their hair, not to mention pooping on them out of "sheer" fright. This was in the winter and that is why the hands aren't flailing as they should be, but chasing none the less.

Macro w/o Macro?
Taken WITHOUT a Macro Lens. I just flipped my own lens around and there we go. I was pretty much standing in front of the quarter for 30 min. straight in order to get the focus right as well as the lighting. I used my tripod to stablize myself. And now I have yet to find something just as interesting.

Backside of What?
Well this is again from Paris but I really didn't like the front side of this cathedral so I went to the back and discovered this shot. Ironically my dad, when he saw this shot, told me that he also took the same shot when he was in Paris...like father like son. Although not always a good thing, this time I'd say it is. Another print if anyone can tell me what the cathedral's name is, oh and Kailen can't answer because she was with me.

Boys Will Be Boys
These kids were feeding the little birdies and wreaking havoc around this bush. I wonder if anyone can count how many birds you see here or at least you think you see. I will send you a free 4X6 of your favorite HDR. This is an irrevocable offer is good until I actually get the number of birds. Anyways more about the actual place, which is in Paris in front of the Notre Dame. Kailen and I were biking around Paris that day and set out to the Notre Dame but never went up the towers. Truth be told, we really didn't want to wait in the line.

Stair of the Louvre
This was a random shot that I took just for the moment and didn't actually think I would look back on it and post it as a really nice picture. I particularly like the framing and the statue that looks like it's contemplating life in the Louvre.

City Hall
The strangest city hall building that I've ever seen. It's kind of like a sponge or something. I wasn't exactly sure of how to photograph this building because I wanted a unique perspective so I spent half an hour walking around this building.
