Winter is Offically Here...

Well I have offically missed all of Fall my favorite season. Unfortunately I only got one weekend that I went out to look at the trees and that was when my parents were here. I'm very sad that I didn't get to go out any more, though work made me incredibly tired I find that it was due to my own laziness. I have also almost abandoned this blog and my site because of the amount of work I've been having. Hopefully I will be much more adjusted to this next semester.

One Massive Shield

This is from the Metropolitan Museum aka. the MET, where they hosted a masquerade mixer that allowed everyone to view their new masks exhibit of native American masks. The tiki like things were unknown to me of what they were or any real information same as the large shield like thing in the background. But I do know that the shield in the background is made up of many more shields.

Swooping Clouds

This is from Maui again, and not from my camera. It is actually from a Sony DSCW70, so my cousins camera. I just saw this while scrolling through all my pictures and the clouds just happened to catch my eye.

Castle of the Departed

Well this is a shot from when I went to the Brooklyn Cemetery, I am asked all the time of why I went to the cemetery and the only answer that I can think of is I thought it would produce some interesting shots. Burning Shadow

Another HDR that I just processed which I really like. Especially the shadow of the guy doing the whole fire sticks. This was when I was in Maui and we were staying at our like five star hotel for the vacation.

Well it's not Winter Yet!

So I have yet to get off my butt and take some morning pictures at Fort Tryon or Central Park so I still have a few weeks, I really do hope that I won't be too late. But this was from last years Fort Tryon trip at 5ish in the morning. Anyways I hope everyone has a fantastic November my favorite time of the year.

Snow Covers Grass

So it's going to snow soon...kinda a good think kinda a bad thing. Firstly it's a good thing because I love the snow and the cold or at least feel the cold every once in a while. Then it's a bad thing because FALL is over!

Adam Levine

So I think I should share this story with everyone even though it's not really my story to tell but, my best friend Micah Levin used to do plays at some place and when he was doing Grease I believe he was co-staring with Adam Levine's little brother Micheal Levine. The end. Haha I'm sure there's more to it than that but I who knows I was in like 4th grade when it happened and all I cared about was how to share this flight simulator on all of the computers in our rooms.

Shady Day

Taken at Ellis Island through one of those bug screens or I'm guessing this one was acting as a sun screen because of the artifacts, but I was really trying to find out what my camera could do. And it seems to have come out just as I had planned, I really like the lines that the screen makes while the colors and building outlines are still a very prominent figure.

Road of Color

Taking this road up to coast of New England was probably the most beautiful drive I've ever taken. There were bright oranges, reds, and yellows all over the place, too bad I couldn't catch them all. I didn't actually get a good shot off since the road was always occupied by at least one car so for this picture I had to take them out.

Bike of Dreams

I found this bike somewhere in the Village on the west side while walking around some time back. I didn't actually look at these pictures and just stumbled upon them today and I don't actually think that the tank was the color it's showing.

Maroon Beam

This is from October 10th at the Maroon 5 Concert. I know there are a lot more shots from this concert but just a little preview as to what is to come from this fantastic event. The lights were so awesome and I do think that Adam Levine is much much better live than on CD.

Mini Stack

Well I really tried to immitate this guy on Flickr and kinda failed miserably but it did take me a good 10 minutes to make this one. the third rock was probably the hardest since they were both pretty small surfaces. It fell over a good 2 or 3 times too so i was very proud of my work.

Getting Back into the Swing

Alright well here's one of my last shots from my weekend retreat with my parents. This is in Maine at some Lighthouse that I can't put a place on. But anyways I thought this was very very odd since I've never seen so many birds flying together all at once. It actually felt like a scene from Birds the movie, but this went on for at least two minutes and I would assume there were a couple hundred.

A Year in Review

Well the year has past once again and I am one year older and wiser I'm not too sure about the wiser part but I'll say that's all relative. I picked this picture because I like holding onto the past while paddling into the green hudson and exploring the rest of my life. It's more about how my memories throughout the year will now be engraved into my mind which reminds me that I'll be into photography for something like 9 months now. I'm sure I've progressed with my photography and learned a ton about it but nothing compares to how much I have learned about my own limitations and strengths. To a new year of being fully an adult.

A Stroll in the Field

Just as the rest of the world should be. Open fields with lots of room to run and play. I do love Hawaii.

Watching over the Family

I caught this in Hawaii and I have quite a few bit more. I'm not exactly sure what to say about this but the duck/goose was very very moody and didn't even let me come close to to the others.

Your Eyes

I think I'm running out of pictures to show you guys. So here's one that was taken at Circuit City while I was bored and had nothing to do. I didn't actually take this but I was standing right next to Patrick that did take this. I just really like her eyes there's like no pupil and they're soooooooo big!

Sparks Mania

Well on Monday I met Nicholas Sparks and had him sign all my 1st ed. copies of his 11 out of 13 books. Now I actually have to get his other two books 1st ed. and get them signed as well. I'm totally stoked about all of these.

Sandy Shower

Sorry about the lack of Sunday HDR's but I've got work on Sunday's and am very very tired when I come home. I know it's no excuse but hey at least I have one.

Well I tried to turn on the showerhead but apparently there was way too much sand in the pipe for actual water to come out. It was more like droplets of sand. No that didn't actually happen but it would be awesome if that really happend, actually the shower was just turned off.

Crisp Falling Clouds

These kind of cloud formations are exactly what I'm looking forward to especially since it's October! Yay the first of October is always a happy time because fall is starting as well as the fact that my birthday is coming up. And since it's my 21st this year my parents are taking me to Maine so that we can have some lobster and picture taking opportunities since I've been working oh so hard this semester.

Fall is Coming!!!

Well as the leaves start to turn, and the air becomes crisp and cold the trees shed their leaves. I would like to be the first to welcome the blessings of fall, although it is only a few weeks in the year they are my favorite weeks throughout the whole year. The multitude of colors are incredible and without this season I'm not sure it would be worth living.

Zipp-idy Do Da

Well this isn't me but rather my cousin who shot the smiling fish and i really liked the action blur on this shot that I tried so much to achieve throughout the whole 5 zip lines but apparently it's quite hard to catch a really good shot. I'm really trying to process as many pictures as I can but going through 20 gigs worth of stuff is quite monotonous.

Anchor Head

Well I was walking down a really random path that goes pretty far out into the river and I saw this and I just started laughing so hard. I had to take this picture just because it is just that awesome.
